Berserk Birthday Party
write a scene about a birthday party in the world of berserk
The group of mercenaries gathered in a dingy tavern to celebrate their leader's birthday. The birthday boy, a muscular man with a scarred face and a fierce expression, sat at the head of the table, a tankard of ale in front of him. His second-in-command, a slender woman with a sharp tongue and a no-nonsense attitude, stood at his side, a wicked-looking knife at her belt.
The rest of the mercenaries, a motley crew of rough-and-tumble warriors, raised their tankards and cheered as the birthday boy blew out the single candle on his makeshift cake - a stale loaf of bread with a piece carved out and filled with dripping honey.
The celebrations continued long into the night, with the mercenaries drinking, laughing, and regaling each other with tales of their past battles. As the ale flowed and the fire in the hearth burned low, the birthday boy stood and raised his tankard once again.
"To another year of fighting, and to the brotherhood of warriors!" he roared, his voice echoing through the tavern. The mercenaries cheered and clanked their tankards together, joining in the toast.
But as the night wore on and the alcohol flowed freely, tempers began to flare. Arguments broke out, and soon blows were being exchanged. The birthday boy and his second-in-command were forced to step in and break up the fights, their voices rising above the din as they tried to restore order.
In the end, the celebrations ended in a drunken brawl, with the mercenaries stumbling out of the tavern and into the night, ready to face whatever challenges the world of Berserk had in store for them.
